What is hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a filler material used in aesthetic medicine for facial harmonization: it is used to adjust proportion, support and transitions between zones, without “changing your face”.

It's not “filling for the sake of filling.” A good plan does not seek to inflate or overcorrect; it seeks to make the result look logical at rest and in motion, and that the amount and areas make sense for your anatomy.

Hyaluronic acid: what changes and what doesn't change

What changes:

  • Proportion: lip, chin and jaw relationships are balanced according to your case.

  • Support: points are reinforced to provide better transition and contouring.

  • Detail: localized dips or shadows are smoothed out (according to assessment).

  • Harmony: priority is given to a natural look, without excess or “obvious effect”.

What does not change:

  • Real bone structure: HA does not “create” bone or replace surgery when required.

  • Skin quality alone: texture, pores or blemishes are not resolved with filler.

  • Perfect symmetry: realistic balance is sought, not mathematical perfection.

  • An identical result in all: the range depends on your anatomy and goals.

It is not a “fixed package”. In assessment we define what does and does not contribute. The goal is harmony, naturalness and safety first.

What does it usually include?

It is defined in valuation: area, amount and focus depend on what really changes your face without exaggeration.

  • Facial diagnosis: proportions, support points and relevant asymmetries.

  • Plan by zones: lips, chin, jawline or dark circles under the eyes, depending on your case.

  • Focus selection: subtle correction, support or definition, without overfilling.

  • Traceable material: we use original and traceable product.

  • Coordinated follow-up: the team guides care and reviews progress; adjustments if necessary.

The plan is put together for your face, not for a “trend”. Less, well put together, usually looks better.

Who is it for?

It depends on your anatomy, what you are looking to improve and whether the change is feasible for your face and care routine.

It could be for you if...

  • You are looking for facial harmonization with a subtle and natural change.

  • You want to enhance lips without looking “puffy” or out of proportion.

  • You notice a lack of definition in the chin or jawline and want more balance.

  • You are uncomfortable with sagging in dark circles or furrows and want to smooth transitions.

  • You prefer a zoning plan, not a standard solution.

Alternatives should be evaluated if...

  • You are looking for a “drastic” change of structure (another option is valued).

  • Your priority is skin texture or blemishes (other treatments are targeted).

  • You want to copy a result that is foreign to your anatomy.

  • There are doubts as to which zone is the one that really changes you (clarified in assessment).

  • You expect a closed result with no individual variation.

Hyaluronic Acid Assessment: how we define your plan

We make a facial diagnosis, define realistic scope and make clear the next steps so that the result looks natural.

Target

What makes you uncomfortable today and what change would look natural on your face.

Facial proportion

Relationship between lips, chin, jaw and middle third.

Support and structure

Where it provides support and where it is not convenient to fill in.

Fabric and expression

How your face behaves at rest and in motion.

Plan and follow-up

Zones, focus (subtle correction / micro adjustments) and controls.

“A clear plan, with aligned expectations, defined next steps and space to resolve doubts.”

The procedure, explained in simple terms

The objective is not to “put filler”. It is correct proportions y smooth transitions with a result that looks natural at rest and in motion. What is applied and where, is decided at appraisal.

  • Plan design
We define priorities: which area changes your expression the most and which area should be left untouched.

  • Facial harmonization
We are looking for global balance: support, projection and continuity of profiles, not “volume for volume”.

  • Lips (when applicable)
We adjust shape and proportion with a subtle approach, avoiding over-corrections.

  • Jaw and chin (when applicable)
Structural definition to give clarity to facial contours without hardening features.

  • Dark circles under the eyes / nasojugal fold (when applicable)
It is judiciously assessed: not all cases improve with hyaluronic acid.

  • Microdoses (strategic use)
In selected cases, micro-adjustments to polish details without changing your facial identity.

Preparation (before application)

Practical checklist to arrive with everything clear.

Recovery and follow-up

Progressive evolution: the goal is to look more harmonious, not “swollen” or obvious.

First days
It is normal to notice changes in stages; the result settles over time.

First week
We adjust expectations based on your individual response: symmetry, integration and naturalness.

Subsequent weeks
The outline looks more stable; the focus is on making the change read “yours”.

Follow-up
The team coordinates monitoring and care guidance, and adjusts the plan if necessary.

The medical follow-up allows to adjust care and resolve doubts as the patient's evolution progresses.

Complementary treatments

When the objective is not only volume, we combine tools for a more coherent result.

Botox (when applicable)
For dynamic lines and expression balance, without competing with filler.

Skinboosters / deep hydration
If the main problem is skin quality rather than structure.

Biostimulation (when applicable)
If the objective is to improve texture and support gradually.

Review of proportions
Sometimes real “change” comes from redistributing priorities, not from adding product.

These points are explained individually during the appraisal.

What it does not include:

Flights and direct hotel reservations (we give you the freedom to choose according to your budget).

Frequently Asked Questions

The goal is for you to look more rested and more harmonious, without losing features. If the plan suggests a change that takes you out of your identity, adjust.
Yes, but facial proportion is evaluated first. Sometimes lips alone work; sometimes it is better to balance support in another area.
In some cases yes, in others it is not appropriate. It is assessed by type of sagging, skin and structure.
It depends on the approach. It can be a subtle definition or just support; you decide according to your traits.
You say straightforward and propose an alternative (another tool or a step-by-step plan). That is what the assessment is for: to choose the right thing, not to force an indication.
