What is it?
Liposculpture is a body contouring surgery that seeks to improve proportion and transitions. It is not only “removing fat”. It is deciding where it is convenient to reduce volume, where it is convenient to keep it and what level of definition looks natural for you.
This page covers:
Liposculpture 360. Circumferential contouring of the torso.
Soft abdominal marking. Discreet and natural definition.
HD liposculpture. More marked definition when the anatomy allows it.
Liposculpture: what changes and what doesn't change
Changes: torso proportion, waist and transitions, with a level of definition according to your case.
It does not change: skin quality when it no longer retracts well, nor the abdominal structure when the main problem requires another surgery.
What does it usually include?
It is defined in assessment according to your objectives, your anatomy and the level of definition you are looking for.
360° selection. Areas of the torso that are treated as a unit to achieve proportion.
Definition level. Soft or HD marking, according to your anatomy and aesthetic preference.
Tissue strategy. Superficial fat and skin quality are evaluated to avoid overtreatment.
Technology as appropriate. Microaire, VASER and BodyTite are integrated when they contribute to your plan.
Lymphatic massages. The team coordinates them as part of the follow-up when indicated.
Clinical follow-up. Controls to monitor inflammation, symmetry and evolution of the contour.
No standard solutions are worked out. The scope, level of definition and tools are decided only after medical assessment.
Who is it for?
It could be for you if...
You are looking for full torso contouring, not just an isolated area.
You want a visible improvement, but with a natural result and consistent proportions.
You are interested in defining your abdomen in a soft version or in a more pronounced version, according to your taste.
You can organize recovery, lymphatic massages and check-ups without improvising.
Alternatives should be evaluated if...
Your main limitation is very excess skin and the objective depends more on resection than contouring.
You expect a “filter-like” definition without considering tissues, symmetry and scarring.
You want to copy someone else's result without your anatomy being similar.
You can't commit to follow-up and care, which is part of the outcome.
Assessment for liposculpture: how we define your plan
Target
What do you want to improve and how do you feel about a natural result on your body.
Ratio 360
Areas that really change your silhouette and how they should be connected to each other.
Anatomy
Skin, volume and actual case limits to avoid overtreatment.
Definition level
Smooth or HD marking, depending on your anatomy and aesthetic preference.
Plan and follow-up
Recovery, lymphatic massages coordinated by the team and controls.
“A clear plan, with aligned expectations, defined next steps and space to resolve doubts.”
The procedure, explained in simple terms
Liposculpture is best understood as a combination of 360° contour y definition level. In assessment we define which approach is right for you and with which tools it makes sense to support it.
Contour 360. The torso is worked as a unit for a more harmonious transition.
Soft marking. Define discreet lines without looking for intense shadows or an exaggerated abdomen.
HD marking. Increases the level of definition when the anatomy permits and the objective requires it.
VASER. Tool that can support definition and fat work in selected cases.
Microair. Assistance for extraction and modeling when it brings precision to the plan.
BodyTite. Radiofrequency for selected cases where skin firmness support is sought.
Preparation (before surgery)
- Preoperative studies according to medical indications and your medical history.
- Adjustment of medications and supplements if applicable.
- Real recovery organization, no tight plans or last minute schedule changes.
- Planning of lymphatic massages and controls, coordinated with the team.
Recovery and follow-up
Days 1-3
Inflammation and tenderness. Priority is given to rest and safe mobilization.Days 4-7
The plan is adjusted according to evolution. Symmetry and inflammation control are reviewed.Subsequent weeks
The contour is defined as the swelling goes down. If indicated, lymphatic massages coordinated by the team are integrated.Months 3-6
The result is consolidated as tissues and internal healing matures.
The medical follow-up allows to adjust care and resolve doubts as the patient's evolution progresses.
Risks and considerations
As with any surgery, there may be bruising, prolonged swelling, slight contour irregularities or fluid accumulation in some cases. Your profile and the prevention and follow-up plan are reviewed during the evaluation.
Swelling and bruising. Expected part of the process and is monitored.
Seroma. It can occur and is treated if it appears.
Contour irregularities. Depends on tissue and scarring, evaluated in controls.
These points are explained individually during the appraisal.
