What is it?
The buttock augmentation with implants (gluteoplasty with implants, “butt implants”) is a surgical procedure to improve projection, shape and symmetry of the buttock with a predictable volume.
Unlike BBL, here we do not depend on “how much fat you have” or how much volume your body retains. The strategy is decided in assessment according to your structure, your skin and the type of result you are looking for.
Buttock implants: what changes and what doesn't change
What changes
Projection of the buttock (volume and presence).
Form (upper pole, roundness, transition with hip).
Symmetry when there are slight differences between sides.
What remains unchanged
Your body does not become “other”. The goal is realistic proportion, not exaggeration.
If there is significant sagging or marked skin changes, the implant alone may not resolve it as you imagine. This will be defined in the evaluation.
What does it usually include?
It is defined in assessment according to your objectives, your anatomy and the safety plan.
Projection and shape design
What look you are going for and what looks natural on your body.Implant selection
Size and shape according to proportions and stability.Placement plan
The technique and plane of placement is decided in the assessment.Discrete scar
It is planned to be as hidden as possible.Follow-up
Controls to monitor the evolution and adjust care.
Important: we do not work with standard solutions. The scope, level of definition and tools are decided only after medical assessment.
Who is it for?
It could be for you if:
Looking for more projection and a volume predictable.
You don't have enough fat for a BBL or don't want to rely on fat retention.
You want to improve the shape of the buttock (flat, little upper pole, slight asymmetries).
You can follow the recovery plan (postures, care and controls).
Alternatives should be evaluated if:
Your priority is a result with your own fat (BBL) and if there is a good donor area.
There is marked sagging or excess skin and your goal is to “tighten” rather than project.
You are looking for an extreme change that does not fit your structure.
Your routine makes it very difficult to comply with initial care (this is defined in the assessment).
Gluteal implant assessment: how we define your plan
Target
What would you like to improve and what would look natural on your body.
Analysis
Proportions, hips, waist and how to build a harmonious silhouette.
Leather quality and support
How your skin responds and how stable the result will be with implant.
Technical choice
Size, shape and placement strategy, defined in valuation.
Recovery plan and follow-up
Care, controls and what you need to get back to your routine calmly.
“A clear plan, with aligned expectations, defined next steps and space to resolve doubts.”
The procedure, explained in simple terms
Surgery is better understood when it is grounded in clear steps. The important thing is that everything is customized at the time of planning.
Design and marking
We define references for symmetry and projection.
Implant selection
Size and shape are chosen based on your assessment.
Implant placement
The technique and the plane is decided in assessment to prioritize stability and natural appearance.
Closing and initial care
It is indicated how to take care of the area and how to move during the first days.
Preparation (before surgery)
- Share complete medical history and current medications.
- Preoperative studies according to your case.
- Medication or supplement adjustments if applicable (indicated in assessment).
- Avoid tobacco and alcohol during the period indicated.
Recovery and follow-up
First days
Inflammation and sensation of tension are to be expected.
Postures for resting and moving safely are indicated.
If drains are indicated, we teach you their management and removal plan.
First weeks
We adjust activity, posture and care according to your evolution.
Lymphatic massages: are recommended as part of the plan, and coordinated by the team.
First months
The tissues gradually settle and the result is defined with follow-up.
We guide you to resume exercise and routine according to your case.
The medical follow-up allows to adjust care and resolve doubts as the patient's evolution progresses.
Risks and considerations
As in any surgery, there are risks. The most relevant ones are usually manageable when the plan is correct and the follow-up is constant.
Inflammation and discomfort at baseline, expected and are monitored with follow-up.
Liquid accumulation (seroma) in some cases, it is monitored and managed if it appears.
ScarThe quality of the product depends on your skin and care, and is monitored in controls.
Asymmetry or displacementThe plan is defined in the assessment.
These points are explained individually during the appraisal.
Medical Philosophy
